Goody-licious: Grilled to Perfection
Grilled cheese is hands down one of my favorite foods. In my opinion you can't go wrong with a buttery, crispy sandwich with cheese oozing out of it. But if you think a grilled cheese is limited to Wonder bread and Kraft singles then I highly recommend you check out this New York Times article, which proves that the grilled cheese isn't just for kids. Oh no, grown-up versions of the classic are easy to make, tasty and très gourmet. This writer made her sandwiches more mature by grilling fried salami and cheese on a bagel and comté cheese and mustard on whole grain bread. My personal favorite creation is goat cheese, sliced tomato and a bit of garlic grilled on French baguette. What would be featured on your dream grilled cheese?
