Happy Birthday! Play With Your Cake?

As Judy so enthusiastically announced yesterday, for the next few weeks we'll be talkin' birthday parties to celebrate our May  birthday issue. While our big feature, The Ultimate Birthday Party Planner, is jam-packed with 10 pages of great ideas, there just wasn't enough room for everything we loved! First up...I have to tell you about this adorable "cake". Looks totally yummy, right? Well, not quite...it's made out of felt! Yes, felt. The Twinkle Cake comes as a three-tiered felt cake with tons of felt decorations that kids can use to decorate. Simply stick 'em on (or glue them when you're ready to save it). This garden design is the one I've been playing with here in the office, but also check out their brand new mini baby cakes too:
