Yellow Blob Right, Green Alien Left
Little kids have a really hard time figuring out which shoe goes on which foot. Result=the classic penguin waddle. Although this is very amusing to watch, it's probably a better idea to help your kids learn their right and left. So get off on the right foot with these fun and fashionable Boogie Monster Mary Janes from Ladybugs and Lilypads ($29). Introduce your kids to Left Lu (the green alien) and Rightie Ralphie (the yellow blob), and they'll never have trouble putting on their own shoes again! Well... that's probably not true, but this should definitely help. They've got kids sizes 1 through 10.

I was confused for a second, but then I realized, Left Lu is the green alien and Rightie Ralphie is the yellow blob. It's funny that even as adults, sometimes we, too, forget which one's our right and our left.

hahahaha!!!! oops. I'll fix it right now. I promise, I know my right from left. Well... most of the time, at least.

I wrote my sons name in the inside of his shoes. His name is Alex, so I wrote "AL" in the left shoe and "EX" in the right shoe. He knows he has them on the right foot when it says "ALEX" not "EXAL" when he looks down at them before putting them on.
