Parent Inventors Hit the Big Time
I was cruising through Target’s site last night when I stumbled upon the “Parent Inventors” section in the baby category. It’s a treasure trove of great stuff—and it's a reminder that one simple idea can equal great success. My fave: the Patemm round changing pads. The genius concept comes from Grace Welch, a mom of three. She wasn’t a fan of rectangular baby pads—her oldest child, Patrick, was so wiggly that they didn’t provide quite enough “coverage.” They come in tons of fun patterns and colors, and now there’s even an organic line. The pads have been around for a couple of years (we covered 'em in ’05!) but hopefully this creative mom will get more business than ever now that her invention is sold at Target. Nice!

I got this changing pad with my first and LOVED it!! It is the best changing pad ever! And the best part is there are little pockets that can hold wipes, and diapers. LOVE IT!!!
