Check out this list of 27 free car games you can play with the kiddos. There are some old standbys (License Plate Bingo, anyone?) but there are a few on here that I've never heard of. Cool! What's your family's fave?

PS: Here's my fave. The game (no idea what it's called) where you have to find road signs that have words that start with each letter of the alphabet. You call it out and the other players can 't use that particular sign. (It gets really hard on letters like Q, X, and Z.) I even play this one on adults-only road trips! =)

What's up w/ the crazy seatbelts in this picture? One kid has the seatbelt around the back of her head and the kid in the middle is having to pull his seatbelt away just so he can breathe.
Looks to me like they want to play that old road favorite, "Let's visit the emergency room!"
Unsafe is not fun!
