Psychic Kids
There are about a zillion reality shows debuting this summer, but probably none will be as bizarre as A&E's offering. Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal pairs kids who have psychic gifts with professional mediums to help them learn to cope with their eerie abilities. According to the channel's Web site, the first episode (which debuts on Monday at 10:00) will be about Faith, an 8-year-old girl who sees the ghost of a little boy named Freddie and is scared to talk to anyone about it. Part of me thinks this is ridiculous (don't all kids believe they see ghosts?), yet I'm dying to watch it anyway. What's your verdict?

I saw a special they had about psychic children, and it was VERY convincing that they were in touch with something outside our understanding. I will be watching the series that is for sure!

I think although many children "see" ghosts, kids who have paranormal experiences do more than just see them. When in the presence of a spirit, the sensitive person feels and senses rather than just sees. Often, there is interaction.

This fascinating hour delves into the worlds of psychic children and psychic twins, including 4-year-old Allison Martin, who talks to invisible people she insists are in the room, and Linda and Terry Jamison, the only set of identical psychic twins in the world. Linda and Terry foresaw the plane crash death of John F. Kennedy Jr. and predicted the events of 9/11 with chilling accuracy on national radio on Nov. 2, 1999. TVPG | cc
