Tees That Teach Manners
Check out these adorable Toddler Virtue T-shirts. I love them! And it made me think—Why splash Juicy or GAP or some other name brand across your kid's shirt when you can use words like Courage, Kindness, and Tolerance? Plus, the site recommends an easy way to reinforce the message:
1. Read virtue.
2. Define virtue.
3. Tell a story relaying virtue.
4. Repeat when tee is worn.
5. PASS IT ON!

One thing I don't understand is how did the word Courage tie in to the Chinese Characters below it. It is a symbol meaning "double happiness" and most commonly used on weddings.

The Confuscis Symbol is simply a design that symbolizes complete harmony with self and others. Going along with virtues, it is a cute design with the aim of teaching and promoting virtues. Check out www.toddlervirtues.com! They do work.

I used for the first day of swim class. Perfect to encourage toddlers for first day of new things. They really get into it and learn the word too!

Love it! Do they make them in adult sizes too? I have a few adults in mind who could use some refreshers on how to be Kind, Tolerant or to have Courge. I think I like the Confusics symbol.

My child has already worn his "Tolerance" shirt twice and we are working on what it all means. These shirts are not only good for learning about virtues, but they are excellent vocabulary builders as well as a tool to make your toddler THINK. Way to go Toddler VirtueTees!

I love this concept and I think it's a great idea. I'm going to get a few for my daughter for her birthday.

My 4yr old twin boys love these t-shirts. In fact, they have worn them so much I'm ordering new ones. We often get stopped by other moms commenting on the great messages on the shirts. I love the idea of explaining the virtue of each t-shirt so my boys understand and when others approach them they feel very proud that they not only know what their shirts say but they can explain what the virtue means. LOVE THEM!! These are excellent gifts!
