A Gold-Medal Lip Gloss

Yves Saint Laurent Golden Gloss has been my go-to gloss for over a year now. Let me count the reasons. First, I always get compliments when I wear it. This past weekend in fact, my friend asked if she could put some on when we were at another friend's bridal shower. Second, the gloss is infused with—get this—real gold. .2 percent of 24 carats to be exact. Those little gold flecks give lips a fullness and a certain...je ne sais quoi I just haven't found with other glosses. At $28 it's definitely a splurge, but trust me, the compliments that will ensue make it worth every penny. It's available in 13 shades. Golden Peony (#10) is my personal fave.

A Very Beautiful Partnership

(I'm also loving the typo in the product description: "Unlike many traditional baby wipes, ours are not bleached with chlorine and do not contain alcohol or synthetic ingredients that can irate baby's skin." Well, I guess you would have an irate baby if his skin was irritated.) The sale ends on April 25th.

Whether you're in the market for a new haircut or just need to inject a bit of fun into your day, Hairmixer.com is worth a click! The site allows you to swap the face in one photo to another, then magically matches the skin tone to the new hair color for a very accurate representation. It's the perfect way to see what you'd look like with Reese Witherspoon's bangs before you make the cut. And unlike other hair makeover sites, this one allows you to upload any photo (you can also choose from the site's impressive inventory of celeb shots). Get a Fab Mommy Makeover!

Our friends at The Body Shop have agreed to do a fab makeover for one of our loyal GoodyBlog readers. You'll go to the store, have a pro makeup artist give you a lovely new look, AND score all of the Body Shop's new spring products, plus some classic essentials. A GoodyBlog crew (at least our beauty guru Tracy and myself—Amanda W.) will also be coming along to film the outing, and we'll post a cute little video of your mommy makeover after the fact. Fun, right?!

Here's the catch! We're in New York, so our lucky lady will need to be in the NYC area or be able to get here fairly easily. (Tracy and I dearly wish we could take the show on the road and travel all over the country to you guys but alas, we can't—at least this time.)
