Pants To Go

 Index_hand_2  Pants3_2  Pants4_4

You have those moments (you all know the ones) where your kid needs a new pair of pants...and fast!  Perhaps you are on the go, and maybe even without your diaper bag at your finger tips (heaven forbid!).

Check out Pantsinapinch.com, a new company selling a change of pants in a coaster-size tin for kids from 3 months up to 6T.  They are 100% cotton and come in a variety of colors.  Toss a tin in your glove compartment, in your pocketbook (even if it's a clutch), or carry one in your back pocket.

For those clumsy, sloppy days, I kind of wish they made these in my size.

We love envirosax for ourselves, but now they come in kid size too! (Via yokiddo)

This isn't especially practical (ok it serves no real purpose at all), but I love it anyhow! Insta-rainbow projector from Perpetual Kid.

The Potty Diaries

Will My son Will is now 2 ½ and showing some interest in the ole potty. I’ve bought him a little potty that he sits on each morning but it’s still somewhat of an abstract concept to him. I’ve also brought home a few fun books on the subject. By far his favorite is this custom made one ($29.99) that shows a caricature of Will using the potty. “That’s me on the potty!” he shouts, and I think it really helps hit home the idea that he will, indeed, be using that potty soon.

We Can't Make This Up

88_m_2 I don't know how to talk this one up, so I'll just come right out with it: Cuddly Pee and Poo Toys. From the website:

So what's the deal with Pee&Poo?..."The soft cuddly toys Pee&Poo elegantly integrate form and function in a playful and disarming manner". Their design idiom not only appeals to children but also flirts with the adult designer toys market. Pee&Poo address the taboo-surrounded subject of bodily functions in an amusing, yet aesthetic manner. As it turned out, Pee&Poo can also be used in parenting contexts such as traditional potty training.

Perhaps I'll get it when I'm a dad. Till then, I'll file this under OMGWTFBBQ. When cartoon representations of human excreta start blowing kisses at me, it's time to shut off the computer.

Hello My Name Is...

Captin_Speaking of Captain Underpants, as we have been today on GoodyBlog, I was thinking about how much my kids loved this series (as did I). Then serendipity struck as I was checking out Scrumdilly-do!, where I was reminded of the potty-licious Professor Poopypants Name Change-O Chart. Much like it sounds, your kid can enter his name and find out his silly name. He can even find out his friends and loved ones' silly names and send it along via email. Make sure to say Fluffy Toilet Pants* sent you.

Have The Poopiest Kid On The Block!

Pee_and_poop
Meet Pee and Poo. Could they be the ticket to finally getting your kid toilet trained? I don't know, but I'm pretty sure they would add some much needed levity to the whole situation (especially if you are a mom or dad who likes a little potty humor and I admit, I do!). But if you're proper, you could always call them number 1 and number 2.
